Instructions for calculating the power of LI-Ion battery.
According to all air waybills for goods sent from our warehouse-goods that contain LI-Ion batteries are issued according to the stickers section II articles P1967 restrictions on the transport of dangerous goods International Air Transport Association (IATA).

According to this section, we can send batteries with a capacity not exceeding 100 WH (watt), and in one package there can be no more than 5 kg of batteries.

How to calculate the power according to the information provided by the stores or the information indicated on the battery itself. If the battery is immediately indicated power in Watts-great, look to it was no more than 100 and either send or not. If you specify volts (V.) – it is necessary to look for a second pointer, where Amper hours are specified.

Take a specific example - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJ0ALYS/ref=asc_df_B00IJ0ALYS4658971?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=shopzilla0d...

We see that the specified power of 20 Volts (20V) and 1.3 Amper hours.

Follow the link http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/Volt_to_Watt_Calculator.htm - power calculator.

We bring in the corresponding sections of the power in Volts and ampere-hours and get the power in Watts

Get the power 26W-battery is allowed to send air delivery.

If the power in volts was 20 Volts and 6 ampere-hours – we get the power of 120 Watts – battery is prohibited for shipment by air delivery.
